["OBS" news (in Russian)]
A powerful shell for TR-DOS and esxDOS, with all the tools for four drives: copying, compressing a disk, renaming
files and disks, merging files. It works under esxDOS on a DivMMC with TRD images on an SD card and can take TR-DOS
Navigator's place as the default boot. It supports 48K to 1024K of memory of all standards, the Kempston mouse and the
CMOS clock; it shows pictures, fonts and texts (cp866 and UTF-8), plays PT2 and PT3 tunes and unpacks Hrust and ZX0
files by itself. Disk work runs at full speed: QC programs the WD1793 controller directly.
Quick Commander v3.22
Release date: 11.10.2026
Main changes: Quick Setup carries QC and offers what to do with it: start it, save it as boot.B on any disk, as a ROM
image, as TRDBOOT.BIN under esxDOS or in the Shadow RAM; Format, Check and Restore moved from the Care menu into Quick
Setup (Disk Doctor with a map of the tracks), and under esxDOS it mounts TRD images from the SD card in drives A-D; the
Care menu and autoKeep are gone from QC; the sprite viewer is back; the text viewer works on 48K too; esxDOS is told by
its TR-DOS emulation's answer; bugs fixed.

old one; on a disk with no BASIC files QC starts in the file menu; the change history in English too; the sprite viewer

Quick Commander v2.62
Release date: 12.12.2001
This version was not planned. It appeared only because the release of version 2.7 dragged on
far too long. So I decided it is better to release new versions more often, with fewer
additions/fixes each, than to spend half a year polishing one version with a pile of additions at once.
Now, thanks to the selfless work of Mac Buster, the Quick manual is also available in English.

Quick Commander v2.6fixed
Release date: 08.05.2000, fixed: 22.06.2001
A fixed version of the popular QC2.6, known for its innovative design :).
QC2.6 first showed up at Millennium1900. Since then it has enjoyed well-deserved fame and competes
on equal terms for the title of the perfect commander (see the article in Abzac #5). The help was translated
into English (!) on the www.zxspectrum.it site.
Three remixes are known so far: QC2.61
by Veka/CPU, "plain" QC2.6 by Klim, and the author's own QC2.6f. The author's remix QC2.6fix
fixes the ROM firmware files and also the exit to Quick, following the Real Commander standard.
Released ahead of the upcoming QC2.7. The latest version available at the moment.
